Former Indian cricket Team captain MS Dhoni started practicing for the upcoming edition of the Indian T20 League. The legendary cricketer will be leading the Chennai-based franchise for the 14th time. However, the franchise took a decision and named Ravindra Jadeja as their new captain in the last season but that didn’t work and Dhoni again started leading the team. Chennai finished in 9th position in the 15th edition of the tournament.

Meanwhile, during the practice session, Dhoni was seen playing football with his teammates. He is often seen playing football ahead of any game. The 41-year-old also plays football in charity matches with many Bollywood stars. He even started his sporting journey as a goalkeeper in school.

However, in the same school, he started playing cricket as a coach and was impressed with his keeping skills and the rest is history. He never misses a chance to play football, he even plays FIFA, the popular video game, with his teammates. Meanwhile, he also gets trolled on social media by some fans.

'I am going to the Indian T20 League': Ben Stokes

Talking about Chennai’s squad for the upcoming cash-rich league's season, they made some interesting changes as they secured England star allrounder and Test skipper Ben Stokes’s services for the upcoming season at a whopping price of INR 16.25 crore. However, it was reported recently that he might miss the entire season but after the 2nd test against New Zealand, he made it clear that he will be available.

"I am going to the Indian T20 League. I have had conversations with ‘Flem’ and he’s fully aware of the situation with my body. It’s a week-by-week case at the moment," Stokes said after the 2nd Test in Wellington.

"I am not going to lie, it’s incredibly frustrating knowing something has been holding me back from performing as I’d like to. I have been working hard with the physios and the medics trying to get myself to a place where I can fulfil my role as I have done for the last 10 year," Stokes added.
