Although, both failed to capitalize on the start they got and were dismissed soon. Rohit, in his innings, scored 21 runs off 13 balls while Kishan played a quick knock of 32 runs in 21 balls.

Mumbai Indians failed to play CSK's spinners

Kishan's wicket opened the floodgates for Mumbai Indians as they were quickly five down for 76 runs in 9 overs. The spin combo of Ravindra Jadeja and Mitchell Santner shared 5 wickets between them to restrict the home team to a par score of 157 for 8, setting the tone for Chennai's remarkable win.
