In the months of October and November of this year, India will host the ODI World Cup 2023. There will be 48 matches contested throughout the course of the tournament's 46 days, including three knockout matchups. Ten teams are expected to take part in the forthcoming big tournament. The ODI World Cup schedule, however, has not yet been released.

Meanwhile, former captain of the Pakistan cricket team Misbah-ul-Haq has already made a big prediction. He has given the names of the two teams that can play the final match. Misbah believes that the final match can be seen between the teams of India and Pakistan. Not only this, but he has also said that Pakistan has a golden chance to win the ODI World Cup this time.

The report indicates that the main event will begin on October 5 and conclude on November 19. Nine separate venues will host Team India's nine matches. On October 15, a fight will also take place between India and Pakistan. The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is a possible venue for this game. Based on rankings, South Africa, Afghanistan, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, England, and Pakistan have all qualified for the World Cup. Ten countries will compete concurrently in the qualification event in Zimbabwe from June 18 to July 9 for the two remaining berths in the ODI World Cup 2023.

Virat Kohli is the best batter across all formats: Misbah-ul-Haq

In the 2001 Test match against New Zealand, Misbah, who led the Pakistan team in the 2015 ODI World Cup, made his debut for his country. He also announced his retirement from the international game against the West Indies in 2017. Misbah amassed 5222 runs in 75 Test matches, 5122 runs in 162 ODIs, and 788 runs in 39 T20 matches while representing Pakistan. Misbah also talked about who is the best batter in the world currently.

"See there are several players, you can't name one. If you ask about different formats, then the names are also different but if we look at just one player across all formats, then Virat Kohli tops the list. His performances and achievements are more than any other player if we combine all three formats," Misbah was quoted as saying by Cricket Country.
