India has been the most formidable side in the ODI World Cup 2023. They are the only unbeaten side in the competition winning all their 9 matches in the group stages of the tournament. The Men in Blue became the first team to qualify for the knockouts and will face New Zealand in the first semi-final at the Wankhede Stadium, in Mumbai. Rohit Sharma has worked out the bowlers well especially the pacers of the team.

The pace trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Mohammed Shami have performed exceptionally well as no opponents could handle their pace and swing whether batting first or second. The trio has picked 45 wickets among them and their lethal spells have struggled the batters in the current edition of the World Cup

The Indian fans will be hoping that the trio perform in the knockouts as they did in the group stages so that they qualify for their first final since 2011 when they won the marquee tournament at home under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. India now has the chance to win the World Cup.
