India is on a dream run in the ODI World Cup 2023, they are the only unbeaten side in the tournament. The Men in Blue has become the first team to qualify for the semi-final. Rohit Sharma's side is the only unbeaten side as they have won seven out of their seven matches so far in the tournament. They will next face South Africa who have been in sensational form in the tournament.

Ahead of the game star batter Rassie van der Dussen has dropped a comment about the two-time World Champions. He believes that they can defeat the hosts. The Proteas have lost only one game, and they were shocked by the Netherlands. In their last match against the Kiwis, they had a comfortable 190-run win against them. Quinton de Kock has been in fine form as the batter has struck 4 centuries in the tournament.

The Men in Blue thrashed Sri Lanka in their last game at the Wankhede Stadium. They won by 302 runs against the Islanders. The match between South Africa and India will be played at the Eden Gardens on November 5th, and the Cricket Association of Bengal has planned to give 70,000 masks of Virat Kohli as it also marks the birthday of the star player.

Obviously, playing India in India is a massive event: Rassie van der Dussen

Van der Dussen said, "Obviously, playing India in India is a massive event. They've been playing really well. A lot of experience in their team. They've got all bases covered, brilliant bowling attack and obviously the batting as well. But again, we'll go into that game knowing that if we do the things well that we want to do, we'll be in a really strong position."

"The challenge is to under pressure, to stay with that, and that's what we'll look to do. But we've played them here before and we've beaten them here before. So, in a sense, it's, even though it's a World Cup, it's not really too much different. We won't be looking at that too much."
