Commentator Simon Doull teased Peshawar Zalmi's skipper Babar Azam on his improved strike rate after he scored a century. Babar has always been criticised for his slow strike rate while batting. However, in the match against Islamabad United, he scored 111 runs in 63 balls with a strike rate of 176.19. Thus, the commentator couldn't stop praising the batter after his brilliant performance.

Doull said, "Rather than putting the team first… the last little while, that’s all that been happening. Rather than looking for boundaries, still so much firepower to come. Hundreds are brilliant, stats are great, but it has to be team first."

Babar's celebration after the century made his intentions regarding the game quite clear. This was his second century in PSL. Moreover, the century came in just 63 balls. Although the first half of the century was quite slow, the second half came in just 20 balls. Once he got settled, he played more freely and effortlessly. Watching Babar's unbeaten knock of 111 runs was a treat to the eyes as he played some beautiful shots.

'Hope to carry the momentum now' - Babar Azam after winning the Player of the Match

In the match against Islamabad United, Babar Azam scored his second century in the Pakistan Premier League (PSL) in just 63 balls. Thus, he was awarded the Player of the Match. At the post-match presentation, Babar praised his teammates for putting up a brilliant show against the United and he hopes to continue with the momentum in the upcoming matches.

"She came for the first time (talking about his mom). Very happy. She always watches from home. Good luck for me that she came and I scored hundred. This is my best one. Saim and I realised pitch was good, so we looked for 200. But then we lost 3 wickets. Paul has a bit of a hamstring problem, so was off the field. Azam got out, so I just took a chance with Yaqoob. All credit to him, didn't panic, believed in his bowling. Weren't up to the mark in first two matches. Hope to carry the momentum now."
