As RCB star Shreyanka Patil put up an incredible display in the present ACC Women's Emerging Teams Cup, the Indian Women's A team defeated Hong Kong Women with ease. In the Group A match at Mong Kok, India A bowled out Hong Kong for just 34 runs before crushing the hosts by 9 wickets with 88 balls remaining. With a staggering spell of 5 wickets for just 2 runs in her 3 overs, Patil was adjudged as the Player of the Match. 

In the ninth over, RCB star Patil entered the bowling attack and took a wicket with his very first delivery, sending Marina Lamplough back to the pavilion and ending the over with a first wicket. In the eleventh over, she bowled the second one, picking up three wickets while only allowing one run. In her third attempt, the 20-year-old cleaned up Ruchitha Venkatesh, capping an impressive performance. Patil talked about her performance after the match.

When it came time to bat in the chase, the Indian A women chased the small total in 5.2 overs, with Gongadi Trisha scoring the most runs. The proceedings were launched by Uma Chetry, the wicketkeeper, and captain Shweta Sehrawat. The first wicket was taken by Betty Chan, who dismissed Sehrawat for just 2 runs in the second over. Trisha came to bat at no. 3, and the combination of Chetry and Trisha made sure India didn't lose any more wickets and went on to record a resounding victory in their tournament debut. The 20-year-old, Shreyanka talked about her performance after the match.

“I am very grateful to be wearing this jersey, Since I was a kid, I was dreaming to wear this jersey and I won’t stop dreaming, I’ll continue dreaming, but the thing is that it’s just in the beginning, and thoroughly enjoyed this fifer because it means a lot to me. On a debut getting five wickets is just an amazing feeling.” Patil was quoted as saying by Sportskeeda.
