The match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL 2023 saw a verbal war between former RCB captain Virat Kohli and LSG bowler Naveen-ul-Haq. The two clashed on-field during the live match and even after the match, the dispute between the two continued through posts on social media.

Meanwhile, a video is now getting viral on social media in which LSG bowlers Avesh Khan and Naveen are sitting together. Both could be seen asking questions to each other, however, Avesh asked Naveen about his favorite sledge on the cricket field which is done by him or someone else, to which, Naveen replied, I don't sledge someone upfront, it's not my habit.”

The heated clash between Naveen and Kohli was followed by another heated argument between LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir and Kohli. This reminded fans the fight between the two Indian legends which happened in 2013. Meanwhile, both were fined 100% of their match fee while Naveen was charged 50 % of his match fee.

Will LSG qualify for the playoffs?

Talking about LSG’s performance in the tournament so far, they started well as they kept themselves in the top 4 spots but now they are standing at the no. 5 spot with 11 points in 11 matches. They have already suffered a huge blow when their regular skipper KL Rahul got injured while fielding in the same match which was against RCB and now they can’t afford any more losses in order to qualify for the playoffs.

On the other hand, RCB are having an up-down tournament so far, as they failed to win the matches consistently and are now standing just behind LSG in 6th position in the points table with 10 points in 11 matches. They need to win all of their remaining 3 matches and with that, they will also have to depend on other team matches results. However, it is unlikely to see both LSG and RCB clash in the playoffs.
