Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), who replaced Playerunknown Battlegrounds (PUBG) in 2021 in India, got removed from all the virtual stores last year that broke a lot of hearts in India, especially esports players’ who were grinding day and night to win the official and unofficial tournaments.

Meanwhile, an esports orgainsation named Global Esports’ founder Dr. Rushindra ‘Rushy’ Sinha shared exciting news on his Twitter handle on May 15 which gave another hope of BGMI’s return. He wrote, “Just heard the biggest news about BGMI's return, and OMG! okay, this I did not expect... Can't share anymore due to confidentiality but just hold on to your seat - this is something even I did not expect.”

Rushy also added that he is not farming or faking just for the sake of likes and shares. However, it might be true as he is founder of Global Esports (GE) who are currently representing India on a global Valorant league. GE have also performed brilliantly in the BGMI tournaments as well as the last tournament Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGMS) which was streamed on Star Sports and was won by them.

There's no update on the game: Scout

Meanwhile, popular YouTube streamer and BGMI esports player Tanmay ‘Scout’ Singh, who is grinding hard in the scrims with his Team Xspark teammates, also talked about the Battle Royale’s return. Scout talked about how esports players are feeling pressure from their families as the game is banned and they are unable to earn currently.

"First of all, jokes aside, there's no news about the game. So that is it, people keep their faith blindly (on the game's return). Thus, everything is going on as it is. I had a chat with many people from tier 1 . Everyone is complaining about being doomed, feeling the pressure from the family, feel like they have wasted their three years." Scout was quoted as saying by Sportskeeda.

"There are varying experiences that everyone is having, but the reason is the same there's no update on the game. We keep thinking that the game will arrive soon, but there is no update," he said.
