'Security kya kar Raha hai' -Fans shocked as violent fight erupts in stands during DC vs SRH game in IPL 2023

A very bad fight ensued between fans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in the game between SRH and DC in IPL 2023.

Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad clashed swords against each other at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday. The match was a humdinger of a contest as SRH prevailed over DC but only by a slim margin of nine runs. The fans had got their money's worth even though DC were not able to get a win on home turf. The last game at Hyderabad between the two sides was also a close encounter.

Though the match was a memorable one, it was marred by a scuffle between the fans in the stands. Two groups of fans got into a very bad fight that continued for quite some time. Neither side was willing to compromise. it was a really bad case of people wanting to beat each other to no end. A lot of abuses and cuss words were shouted out even as people were recording the incident on video which was not the best thing to do.

Mayank Markande bowled a wonderful spell of 2-20 for SRH

Coming to the match, it was a cliffhanger of a contest. SRH won the toss and opted to bat first. Abhishek Sharma played a brilliant knock off 67 off 36 balls with 12 fours and one six. Heinrich Klassen played a superb innings of 53 off 27 balls with two fours and four sixes. The South African got able support from Abdul Samad, who made a valuable 28 off 21 balls with one four and two sixes.

Mitchell Marsh was DC's best bowler on the park as he scalped 4-27 in his four overs to put SRH in a spot of bother at one stage. DC fired with the bat. Marsh made 63 off 39 balls with one four and six sixes. Phil Salt also made a good 63 off 39 balls with nine fours.  But DC erred in their decision making and sent Axar Patel late in the batting order at number 7 which cost them the match.

Mayank Markande was the best bowler for SRH as he picked up 2-20 in his four over spell. It was a wonderful bowling spell by the wrist-spinner. He has been sensational for SRH so far in IPL 2023. SRH can breathe slightly easy after this win against DC.
