Hasbulla, a social media sensation, shared his opinions on a probable fight between Leon Edwards and Islam Makhachev. Against Kamaru Usman this past weekend, Edwards successfully made his first championship defence. In a competitive match, "Rocky" prevailed over the former welterweight champion by a majority decision. Islam Makhachev, the UFC lightweight champion, called out Edwards after his victory.

Makhachev announced his candidature for the chance to win two championships on Twitter, perhaps. He stated: "I want Leon next, October in Abu Dhabi."

Hasbulla, a popular social media user and a friend of Islam Makhachev, discussed this topic in a recent interview with The Schmo. He said, implying that he didn't have to move up a weight class: "Why he needs to go up if he's already cool? He's the champ, and everybody's scared him."

It's important to note that Hasbulla is also from Dagestan. He has developed a strong bond with Islam Makhachev through time and with the UFC. He just inked a contract with the UFC for promotional tasks and frequently appeared at UFC events.

Islam Makhachev discusses Conor McGregor's comeback

After they square off as competing coaches in the forthcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter, Conor McGregor is scheduled to return to the octagon against Michael Chandler later this year. It should be noted that this will be the Irishman's first fight in the UFC since July 2021, and there is still talk about him perhaps getting a title chance if he defeats Chandler.

Speaking on this, UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev has hinted that he is aware that if Conor McGregor defeats Michael Chandler, the UFC will attempt to grant him a shot at the championship.

Makhachev stated the following recently on the WEIGHING IN podcast:

"They try to make the fight, but it's not official now, and I don't think Conor wants to fight because he's drinking too much and smoking all day. He just can't. TUF makes some things interesting because everybody's forgot him. I don't know when he fought last time, but if they fight, I think it's going to be 170. Maybe if he beats Chandler, they're going to try to push him and make 155. I know they want to give him title chance."
