The latest player to be added to the list is KL Rahul who scored a brilliant hundred in the ongoing Test series against South Africa at the Supersport Park, Centurion. 3. Kapil Dev (1992) 

In the 1992, series against the Proteas former India captain Kapil Dev scored a brilliant hundred in the Boxing Day Test, in the second innings of the 3rd Test, at St. Geroge's Park, Gqeberha. He played a knock of 129 runs and except for the batter no other could even go past the 20-run mark and the first six batters were back in the pavilion with the single-digit score. The Proteas won the match comfortably by nine wickets in hand with then skipper Kepler Wessels scoring 95 runs. 

2. KL Rahul (2021) 

KL Rahul has been one of the finest players for the Men in Blue. The wicket-keeper batter has been in great form since coming back from the injury. Rahul scored a hundred back in 2021 at Supersport Park, Centurion which was his first hundred against the Proteas in Rainbow Nation. He played a 123-run knock against the hosts in the 1st test of the 3-match Test series. He opened the innings and played brilliantly in a difficult wicket. India won the game by a margin of 113 runs against them. 

1. KL Rahul (2023) 

KL Rahul played the best knock of his Test cricket career in the ongoing test against the Proteas. He scored a brilliant hundred at Centurion on a green top wicket, where the others failed to have an impact. He has been the crisis man for India in the middle order and played a knock of 101 runs hitting 14 fours and 4 sixes in his innings and helped India post 245 runs in the first innings.
