Virat Kohli batted really well: Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik recently analysed the batter's performance on day 1 he said, "Virat Kohli batted really well, weathered the first spell, and when he did come back for his second spell, he did everything he could till he got that nasty one. It was angled in, pitched, and went out. As a batter, all you can do is just play the line, which is what Kohli did, and it ends up taking your edge. There is not too much you can do."

India are eyeing a series win against the Proteas for the first time in history as Rohit Sharma's side will also like to keep a tap at the points table of the 2023-25 World Test Championship (WTC).
