Fans are overjoyed after witnessing Jadeja's heroic performance in the first Test against Australia in Nagpur.

Indian all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja has made a stunning comeback in international cricket in the first Test match against Australia in Nagpur. Jadeja spun a web around the opposition batters on a spin-friendly track. He pitched the ball at the right areas and troubled the Australian batters with his spin and guile. After two early wickets, Steve Smith and Labuschagne were taking Australia to a strong position until Jadeja broke the partnership.

He sent Labuschagne back with a ball which turned viciously and on the very next ball, he also sent Renshaw back to the hut. In-form batter Steve Smith had no answer to a peach of a delivery bowled by Jadeja. The southpaw uprooted Steve Smith’s stumps with a delivery, which came in with the angle instead of spinning.

Jadeja ended up picking a five-wicket haul and conceded just 47 runs in 22 overs, helping India bundle out Australia for just 177 runs. Jadeja was equally brilliant with the bat as well.

He came onto bat in the 60th over after the fall of the fifth wicket in the form of Suryakumar Yadav. He stitched a 61-run partnership for the 7th wicket with Rohit Sharma. Latter got out after scoring a ton but Jadeja kept toiling hard with the bat.

The southpaw has forged an unbeaten 81-run partnership for the 7th wicket to take India to a score of 321 runs in the second innings. Jadeja is currently unbeaten on 66 runs off 170 balls, a knock which is laced with 9 fours.

He looked in a terrific mood after completing his half-century and has taken the Indian side to a great position at stumps on Day 2. India have attained a lead of 144 runs and still have 3 wickets in hand. Axar Patel has provided great support to Jadeja as he too is currently unbeaten on 52 off 102 balls.
