'Tera bhi time aayega' - Fans react to Nitish Rana's cryptic Tweet after getting overlooked for T20I squad for West Indies tour

The talent pool of Indian cricket is so much these days that the players who miss out to get into the team feel unlucky. In the recently announced T20 squad for the West Indies tour, Indian batter Nitish Rana failed to make the cut for India’s squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against West Indies which is scheduled to start in Trinidad on August 3.

With the likes of Tilak Varma and Yashasvi Jaiswal earning their maiden call-up into the national side but the major missing who we’re not in the squad was Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh as both the players have lately been in fine touch. Citing this concern, Rana took to Twitter and expressed his feeling in a cryptic manner. The quote read, “Bad days build better days.”

The southpaw has featured in just two T20Is and one ODIs prior to this. Rana was picked for India's tour of Sri Lanka in the month of July 2021. However, soon after his debut the elegant left-hand batter was dropped from the white-ball squads after not a promising outing in the limited given opportunity.

The likes of Jaiswal and Varma made the cut based on their terrific IPL form but the likes of Rana, Rinku Singh, and Ruturaj Gaikwad failing to make it to the national side certainly ignited a fire of conversation among the fans;

Rana was Kolkata's second-highest run-scorer with 413 runs from 14 innings at an average of 31.76.

He has hit one hundred and 28 fifty-sixes, and his strike rate in the format is 136.71. Additionally, he has 63 innings under his belt and 43 wickets for an economy rate of 7.10.
