IPL is always dubbed as a cricket festival full of entertainment with cricket but sometimes the tournament happens to witness scenes that are very rare and unexpected. Something similar happened yesterday during and after the match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB defeated LSG by 18 runs in a low-scoring affair and cleared off their books with them after they lost at the home ground M Chinnaswamy in Bengaluru.

But nobody had expected what happened in the later part of the match and after the match ended. Former RCB skipper and batting superstar Virat Kohli ended up in a verbal spat with LSG players Naveen-ul-Haq and Amit Mishra. It was later followed by a very heated conversation and an argument between LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir and RCB veteran Virat Kohli.

The video of the entire incident is now making rounds on social media dividing cricket fans into multiple opinions and reactions for both Gambhir and Kohli. Meanwhile, the match referee imposed fines on Kohli, Naveen ul Haq and LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir for breaching IPL’s code of conduct.

Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir have been slapped the fine of their 100 percent match fees whereas Naveen ul Haq was charged with the penalty of 50 percent match fees.

Notably, this entire fight started during the 17th over of the second innings of Lucknow Super Giants when Virat and Naveen happened to be in an altercation with each other. The moment was later intervened by the senior player Amit Mishra which also resulted in an exchange of words between him and Kohli.

Here’s the entire video of all the scenes at Ekana Stadium involving Virat Kohli and the LSG camp:

This all ended up and costed a very ugly post-match verbal fight between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir which was further calmed down by LSG assistant coach Vijay Dahiya and Amit Mishra himself.
