Afghanistan opening batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz was seen visiting the wildlife in Harare, Zimbabwe. He is playing for Cape Town Samp Army in the ongoing Zim-Afro T10 League 2023. In a video uploaded by Gurbaz on Instagram, he went close and touched the teeth of an elephant. Even though the animal wasn't looking to harm the right-hander, the former's slight movement scared the Afghani away.

In the video, a fellow traveler of the opening batter was heard saying 'Jungle ka sher dar gaya' (The King of the forest is scared). The video has been re-uploaded by his IPL franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders on Twitter. The two-time IPL winners brought him alongside Lockie Ferguson during the trading window last November. In the IPL 2022, the former age-group cricketer for the national side played for eventual winners, Gujarat Titans.
