Everyone around the world is a fan of the celebrations of the Portugal captain and tries to imitate him more often than not. Many of his celebrations get copied by other athletes and tries to change them from time to time.
What happened to the player who tried to imitate Ronaldo after scoring a goal?
During a Vietnamese tournament, a football player from Vietnam hurt himself while attempting to mimic Cristiano Ronaldo’s well-known “siuuu” celebration. Tran Hong Kien of Viettel FC netted a goal during the game and attempted to replicate Cristiano Ronaldo’s well-known celebration, but it failed.
The child attempted to imitate Cristiano Ronaldo’s celebration by sprinting to the touchline, however, he landed awkwardly and, according to the Spanish sports publication Mundo Deportivo, the impact tore the ligaments in his left knee.

Another video that went viral on social media was of an Indonesian child playing with his buddies and scoring an outstanding free kick. The free kick brings to mind his identical strike against Portsmouth for Manchester United during his first stint at the club. The little player hit the traditional “Siuu” celebration after scoring a beautiful goal to celebrate.
Upon landing, Ronaldo’s signature goal celebration, “si!” (often spelt “siu”), which is Spanish for “yes!” expresses joy at scoring. He performed Ronaldo’s new celebration, “peace of mind,” following initial treatment from his teammates. They had their heads back, their eyes closed, and their fingers clasped across the front of their chests as he stood straight.
But soon after, he started limping, and a few minutes later, he got raised off the ground and placed on a stretcher. Sometimes, even the greatest of celebrations can have an impact if not done properly. This is the first time we are seeing a freak incident like that and the player as well as the team might be hoping it’s not a serious injury
