Former India skipper Virat Kohli is in Bengaluru for team India's preparatory camp before Asia Cup. He is currently at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru with the Indian squad as part of training for the upcoming 2023 Asia Cup. He was photographed when he visited a local educational institute in Bangalore, named Atria Institute of Technology.
He was seen entering the Institute amid heavy security even as fans cheered for the Indian cricket star. The former Indian cricket team captain shared a picture of him on the ground right after the fitness test. With the picture, he also revealed his Yo-Yo test score which came out to be 17.2.

A massive crowd, including students and faculty, was waiting outside the institute to get a glimpse of Kohli. The police in charge of security had a tough time stopping the fans. Even the police were seen clicking photos with the 34-year-old batter. There were also chants of “RCB, RCB” in between the “Kohli, Kohli” chants.
After clicking a few pictures with the fans, Kohli then left the institute before joining his teammates. The Indian superstar is closely associated with Bengaluru as the part he has been an integral part of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The Men in Blue will be training in Bengaluru's NCA over the next six days before heading to Sri Lanka for the Asia Cup 2023. Their campaign is starting on September 2, against arch-rivals Pakistan. India will embark on a mission to first win the Asia Cup and then the World Cup later this year.
Rohit Sharma and Co will be hoping to defeat Pakistan in the opening match and have a perfect start to the tournament. India will face Nepal in the other group-stage match on September 4 at the same venue. This also be a preparation before the World Cup. The Blues have yet to win cricket's most prestigious tournament, since 2011. The Delhi-born batter is expected to play a crucial role for India in the upcoming Asian tournament.
