Pakistan Cricket Team has already reached India on Wednesday midnight. The team has reached Hyderabad where they will play their first warm-up game against the last time runners up New Zealand. They have come to India for the first time in seven years since 2016.

The Babar-Azam-led side has not played a single game in India. They will face challenges to get suited to the conditions and the pitches. The 1992 World Cup winners are coming with all hopes to win the World Cup in subcontinent conditions. They will miss Naseem Shah as he got ruled out of the World Cup due to a shoulder injury he picked during a Super 4 match against India.

Pakistan received a warm welcome in India. As soon as they reached the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad with lots of fans came to see them. Many Pakistani cricketers were happy with the welcome they received and posted on their social media handles about the reception they received from India. On the other hand Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Zaka Ashraf has dropped cryptic comments about the neighbours.

Here's the video

Players hain inka morale upar rehna chahiye: Zaka Ashraf

The PCB cheif said, "Players hain inka morale upar rehna chahiye jab ye kisi dushman mulk ya kisi bhi jagah khelne jaayen jahan wo competition ho raha ho, to they should go with the full support of the nation aur unko ek achche tarike se perform kar saken.” ."

After his comments, controversies over the video have risen in social media. Some people have lashed out and clearly believe that he should not have used the words “dushman mulk”. It was disrespectful to the country from where the players received such a grand welcome and security.

Ahead of travelling to India Babar Azam said, that they are eyeing the trophy and not just a top-four finish. Keeping the subcontinent conditions, many experts have picked Pakistan as one of the semi-finalists for the World Cup.
