In the penultimate over of CSK's innings on Wednesday (May 10), MS Dhoni turned back time by hammering Delhi Capitals quick Khaleel Ahmed for two sixes, along with a four. CSK scored 167 runs overall for the loss of eight wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, thanks to Dhoni's heroics in the last overs in front of their home crowd.

The 41-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman for CSK came out to bat at No. 8 and smashed 20 runs off just nine balls with the assistance of two sixes and one four. On the third delivery of the nineteenth over, he scored his first maximum. Dhoni drove a pull shot with ease and crossed the short boundaries at deep mid-wicket after Khaleel produced a slower delivery on a length outside off. 

When Dhoni scored his first six of the game, the Chennai crowd went wild, so much so that his wife Sakshi as well as daughter Ziva, seated in the grandstand, joined in the celebration. The internet was flooded with photos and videos of Sakshi with Ziva enjoying Dhoni's power-hitting during the death overs. After the match and the post match presentation, Ziva Dhoni, daughter of Mahendra Singh Dhoni came on to the pitch and ran towards her father and everyone saw it as a wholesome moment between the father-daughter combination.
