Sutherland, the father of Annabel, told the media, "The Indian Cricket Board did wonderful things for women's cricket in bringing the WPL to life. First year was a great success and teams did pretty well given they had a very short lead into the tournament. They will be even better organised this season. To achieve its potential it will be great to see matches scheduled around the country. Fans will love it... and it will inspire more girls to play and love cricket!"
Deandra Dottin did not find any buyer for herself and is set to miss the league for the second year in a row. The second set has ended with Bess Heath, Amy Jones, Nuzhat Parween, and Tammy Beaumont going unsold and a break has been taken.

Looks like Delhi Capitals made a deal as epic as hitting a six on the last ball of the match! Sutherland's value just skyrocketed—hope she's ready to handle that Crore superstar status! 💰🏏
