Lucknow Supergiants will be in action on Monday, April 10 against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. LSG have won two games out of three while RCB played two matches and won one. RCB played impressively well against Mumbai Indians in their opening encounter in Bengaluru but got thrashed by KKR in Kolkata.

Meanwhile, LSG skipper KL Rahul will be playing against his former franchise and will hope to score big, given the size of the ground which helps to hit sixes. However, he hasn't produced anything special for his franchise in the season so far, but his stats against RCB in the last 7 innings says that we can expect something big from him. He has scored 474 runs at an average of 118.5 and a strike rate of 148.59.

Rahul can create a platform for his side for a big total: Ravi Shastri

Former India head coach Ravi Shastri recently talked about Rahul and said that he will aim to play a big innings. He mentioned that LSG has a strong batting lineup which will allow the right-hander to take a risk and play big shots. He also talked about the surface in Bengaluru and said that the pitch won't help spinners much but will definitely help the pacers.

"I think he (KL Rahul) will aim to play a big innings but with a rapid approach. With the presence of Kyle Mayers, Stoinis, and de Kock yet to come, LSG have a powerful batting line-up. So KL Rahul can take chances (for the big hits at the start). I have enjoyed watching him bat. He is a destructive player and if he gets good batting conditions then he can set the game in 5-6 overs. He can create a platform for his side for a big total."

"The surface in Bangalore won't allow spinners to come in the game. So Avesh (Khan) can play along with Mark Wood. Wood will bowl well there because it offers true bounce and his ball skids with the pace, so he will trouble the batsmen."
