In the 32nd match of IPL 2023, Royal Challengers Bangalore registered their fourth win by defeating Rajasthan Royals by 7 runs. Under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, the team won the second match in a row. After this win, RCB's team reached the 5th position in the points table. This was the team's second consecutive win, before this, RCB had defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the previous match.

RCB played without their premium overseas pacer Wayne Parnell. At the time of the toss, Kohli informed that Parnell was not fit. Injury problems have not been a new thing for RCB this season. Rajat Patidar was already out of the team. However, in the post-match presentation, Kohli indicated the return of a star player.

After the match against Rajasthan, Kohli told that Australian bowler Josh Hazlewood can join the team till the next match. Hazlewood has been away from cricket for a long time due to injury. However, now he is fit and has joined the squad. That is, at any time he can return to playing XI of the team.

Kohli pointed to this and said, "Hopefully, Josh (Hazlewood) will return to the team in the next match. Siraj is bowling brilliantly right now.
