Royal Rumble 2024 is just around the corner and the WWE universe is waiting to see who comes out on top. Vince McMahon’s troubles have been the talk of the wrestling world ahead of the first Premium Live Event of the year.

While most of the top names are expected to be part of the event, there are some massive surprises in store too. Sadly for the WWE Universe, few stars will not be performing on Saturday during the WWE Royal Rumble 2024 event.

In this story, we take a closer look at the top five WWE superstars who will not appear in the Royal Rumble 2024 event.

5- Iyo Sky –

Royal Rumble 2024 has only four matches advertised with the two traditional Rumble Matches set to headline the day. Iyo Sky surprisingly will not defend her WWE Smackdown Women’s title during the event. This is one of the big three titles that will not be defended with only Roman Reigns set to defend his belt during the event.

4- Big E –

WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins is set to miss Royal Rumble 2024 due to injury. The ‘Monday Night Messiah’ hurt his leg during his match with Jinder Mahal on Monday Night RAW. WWE wants the 37-year-old to take a rest and not aggravate his injury going into the WrestleMania season.

2- Charlotte Flair –

Considered one of the best Women’s wrestlers of this era, Charlotte Flair suffered a terrible injury during her match with Asuka. According to reports, the multiple-time champion is set to miss a longer time out of the ring due to the severity of her injury.

1- Rhea Ripley –

Judgment Day’s Rhea Ripley is the third title holder who will not be part of the WWE Royal Rumble event. It is expected the Australian grappler will defend her crown when WWE heads Down Under for the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event in February.
