The 25th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is scheduled to take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. However, ahead of the clash, as soon as the Mumbai Indians team arrived in Hyderabad, captain Rohit Sharma caught everyone's attention.

Meanwhile, many Rohit fans were spotted outside the Hyderabad stadium even before the start of the match. It was surprising to see the craze of the Indian captain in Hyderabad which is not his home ground. Rohit will look to provide an entertaining knock for the fans against SRH as he recently got his form back.

In the last ten years or so, Rohit has become one of cricket's most well-liked players, and he has a sizable global fan base. Not to add that his IPL team, the Mumbai Indians, has played a significant part in it. The 35-year-old would like to lead his team off to a strong start against a powerful Sunrisers Hyderabad team capably headed by Aiden Makram. He wasn't seen at his most proficient in this year's IPL, save from his 65-run performance against Delhi Capitals (DC).

Brilliant comeback by both SRH and MI

The five-time champions, who had dropped their opening two games of the competition, defeated DC and then Kolkata Knight Riders to go back on track. Mumbai currently holds the seventh spot in the points standings with two victories to their credit.

Sunrisers Hyderabad's journey has paralleled that of their IPL 2023 debut, but after two straight victories over Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders, Aiden Makram's team would like to think that they have the winning momentum on their side. In the points standings, SRH are currently in seventh place. If they manage to get a win against MI on Tuesday, then they can make a great jump to direct in the top 4 spots.
