Virat Kohli, Travis Head, Ravindra Jadeja and Pat Cummins. All these four had a brilliant 2023 year and were in exceptional form throughout the year.

Memorable 2023 performances

Kohli had an unbelievable campaign in the 2023 year. The former India captain, shined in the 50-over format, smashing several records. He hit six ODI hundreds, finishing with 50 tons in the format. He also became the player with the most ODI hundreds, overtaking India legend Sachin Tendulkar in the process and won the Player of the tournament award in the ODI World Cup 2023.

Jadeja has been the best all-rounder in the world over the years. He picked 22 wickets in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and played an important role in India winning the series. He picked 31 ODI wickets, and Jadeja shined in white-ball cricket too. He picked 16 wickets at 24.87 in the World Cup, with a career-best performance of 5/33 against South Africa at the Eden Gardens.

Head on the other hand has been the best batter for the Aussies over the years across formats. The Southpaw was the star in two finals for the Aussies one in the World Test Championship (WTC) and another one in the ODI World Cup 2023 final both against India. He scored a century in both finals which earned him the Player of the Match award in both the finals. Cummins is having a dream year as a captain, he retained the Ashes, won the WTC and the ODI World Cup as well, he has been one of the crucial members of the side.
