Kapil Dev is the first skipper for India to win the World Cup. The former all-rounder has been one of the finest captains for the Men in Blue and a great cricketer as well. The 1983 World Cup winner celebrated his 65th birthday on Saturday. He has been the inspiration of many fast bowlers for India over the years. The former captain got wishes for his birthday and an old video of him dancing has gone viral.
An old video surfaced on social media in which Kapil and his wife Romi were seen dancing to the song 'Gulabi Aankhein'. Kapil's dance moves in the video shocked his fans, was widely shared the post online. It was so heartwarming to watch the cricketer who made the other team dance with his batting and bowling throw in some great dance moves in the video.
He had a brilliant Test career with a record 431 wickets and 5,248 runs in 131 matches. His one-day record was also sensational with 253 wickets and 3,783 runs in 225 ODIs. The former all-rounder was invited to the 2023 World Cup final but he did not turn up as he wanted to take all his 1983 teammates with him.

He told ABP news, "I wasn't invited there. They didn't call me so I did not go. As simple as that. I wanted the whole '83 team to be there with me but I guess due to the fact that it's such a big event and people are so busy handling responsibilities, sometimes they forget."
He along with Bishan Singh Bedi and Sunil Gavaskar, was inducted into the Hall of Fame last week, said his birthday wish was to see the Indian cricket team touch new highs this year.
