Indian young batter Shubman Gill who is currently playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 for the defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT), is in red-hot form and proving his worth as an opener. He has already scored 469 runs in the 11 matches he played so far in the season. However, it is a great sign for the Indian cricket team as he will open with skipper Rohit Sharma in the upcoming Test Championship final and the ODI World Cup later this year.

Meanwhile, Gill, who also remains in the headlines due to his non-cricket reason, has given great news to his fans. The right-handed batter has dubbed for the upcoming Indian Spider-man: Across the Spider-verse in Hindi and Punjabi versions. He will lend his voice to the leading character of the movie named Pavitr Prabhakar and the fans looked really excited and are eagerly waiting for the movie to be released soon. Gill himself talked about the same and also shared his experience.

"I have grown up watching Spider-Man, and he is one of the most relatable superheroes. Since the movie will be debuting the Indian Spider-Man for the first time on screen, getting to be the voice of our Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar, in the Hindi and Punjabi languages was such a remarkable experience for me. Already, I feel superhuman. I am eagerly anticipating the release of this movie."

Will Gill continue his brilliant form?

The 23-year-old batter played an outstanding innings in his last outing which was against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), however, he failed to hit his maiden IPL century as he fell short of just 6 runs at the end. He played an unbeaten knock of 94 runs which came off just 51 deliveries, during this he smoked 2 fours and 7 sixes.

Gill will be back in action against the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) on May 12 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. He will look to score big again as it will help him to get close to the orange cap and will also benefit the team to make the playoffs qualification a lot easier.
