India defeated Bangladesh by three wickets in the Mirpur Test match. At one point, the visiting team was staring at an inevitable defeat in the game while chasing the target as they lost seven wickets for 74 runs on a challenging wicket. And then came the eighth-wicket partnership of Ravichandran Ashwin and Shreyas Iyer, who got India out of the jail and guided them to a win after adding unbeaten 71 runs together. With the victory in the second match, India claimed the two-match Test series 2-0.

For India, Ashwin scored an unbeaten 42 off 66 balls in the second innings which included four fours and a six. At the same time, Shreyas Iyer scored 29 runs in 46 balls. Shreyas Iyer's innings included four fours. Ashwin took a total of six wickets in the match, due to which he also got the player of the match award.

Ashwin does not back down

Ashwin also shared his picture with the Player of the Match award on his Twitter account. Although this post of Ashwin did not go down well with a Sri Lankan fan and he tried to troll Ashwin. That fan named Nibraj Ramzan wrote, 'You should have given the player of the match award to Mominul Haque, Who had dropped that catch. Had he taken the catch, India would have been all out for 89.

In response, Ashwin wrote: "Oh no ! I thought I blocked you, oh sorry that's the other guy. what's his name?? Yes Daniel Alexander that's the name !! Imagine what you both would do if India dint play cricket."

With the Test series against Bangladesh, this year's journey of Team India has come to an end. Now the Indian team will be seen playing on the field only next year. Indian team is going to start the new year by playing a match against Sri Lanka. First, there will be a three-match T20 series between the two teams from January 3. Then the ODI series of three matches will also be organized.
