India beat Australia by 20 runs in the 4th T20I to clinch the 5-match series 3-1. India made four changes on their side with Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Chahar, Mukesh Kumar, and Jitesh Sharma, coming in for Tilak Varma, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna, and Ishan Kishan. The Men in Blue were invited to bat first after Mathew Wade won the toss at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium, Raipur. Both teams are playing with their second-string side with the majority of the players who were part of the recently concluded ODI World Cup 2023 have been given rest.

Jaiswal was the first one to be back in the dugout. Gaikwad completed his 4000 runs in T20s as the batter required 7 runs to achieve this milestone. He also became the fastest Indian to achieve this feat.

Jitesh Sharma also fired alongside him scoring 35 off 19 balls. With the help of both their firey innings India posted a total of 179/9.
In response, the Aussie openers Travis Head and Josh Philippe gave them a fiery start. They were scoring more than 10 an over at one point.
