Team India registered their biggest Test win in terms of runs when they won the Rajkot Test by 434 runs. Rohit Sharma and his side showed ruthless aggression as they out-smarted the England Team. 

Ben Stokes and his side were all out for just 122 with Ravindra Jadeja picking yet another fifer in Test cricket. It was a sad way to celebrate his 100th Test appearance for the England skipper. 

Yashasvi Jaiswal was the star of the show with the bat earlier in the day. The young opener scored an unbeaten double-century as India declared the innings at 430/4. Sarfaraz Khan marked his Test debut with his second successive fifty of the game. 

India flexes their muscles to post a huge win over England 

Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid were all smiling as the Indian Cricket Team took a 2-1 lead in the series. The third Test in Rajkot finished late on day four as the home team won the game by 434 runs. This was India’s highest win in terms of runs in the longest format of the game. 

Ben Duckett was the first man out when he was run out for 4 runs after smart work by Dhruv Jurel. Fellow opener Zak Crawley played back to a ball from Jasprit Bumrah as the umpire lifted his finger. Ravindra Jadeja then struck twice when he first dismissed Ollie Pope caught by Rohit Sharma for 3. The next to go was Bairstow who was plumb LBW for four to leave his side reeling at 28/4. 

Joe Root and Ben Stokes added 22 runs for the fifth wicket before Root was out LBW to Jadeja. It was Kuldeep Yadav’s turn as he got the big wicket of Ben Stokes for 15. The wickets kept falling as the English batters seemed lost for ideas. 

Mark Wood played well to top score with 33 before giving Jadeja his fifth wicket. Yashasvi Jaiswal held onto a fine catch as India won the game. The next match of the series will be played in Ranchi as the English try to regroup from this thrashing.
