IPL 2024 Auction: Who are the 3 Indian players out of 23 players listed in INR 2 crore bracket list released by IPL governing body

The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction is just a week away and the governing body has already released the full list of players who will be up for auction on December 19 in Dubai. This is the first instance that an auction will be taking place outside India. A total of 333 players have been shortlisted. Out of these 333, 214 are Indians, while 119 players are from overseas, including 2 from Associate Nations. A total of 116 capped and 215 uncapped players are set to undergo the hammer. 

There have been sets that are kept for the auction. Only 23 players have kept themselves in the elite Rs 2 crore base price. 20 of these players are from overseas. Only 3 Indians are on the list and all of them have good experience of playing internationals for India and are part of the current setup too. 

The list has been distinguished into 1 to 10 sets with the first set comprising the batter, all-rounders, bowlers, and following on. The notable players in the first set are Harry Brook, Travis Head, and Steve Smith. The three Indian players on the base price list of 2 crore INR, are Shardul Thakur, Umesh Yadav, and Harshal Patel. A total of 11 Indian players will be seen in the Rs 50 lakh price bracket.
