Former India and Chennai Super Kings teammates MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina reunited for a meal as the former enjoyed time with family and friends in Ranchi. The last time Dhoni was seen in action was when he led CSK to their fifth IPL title in May this year. Raina, currently captaining Urbanrisers Hyderabad in the Legends League T20, led his team to a victory over Southern Super Stars by 13 runs at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi on Tuesday.
After the match, in the post-match conference, the former India player was also seen acknowledging the fact that if you have dinner with MS Dhoni, then you are bound to win matches. It is no hidden fact that Raina and Dhoni share a special bond beyond the cricket field which have forged through their significant contributions to the Indian cricket team's success. Instrumental in India's victories in the 2013 Champions Trophy and the 2011 ODI World Cup under Dhoni's captaincy, the two cricket superstars bid farewell to international cricket on the same day (15 August 2020), marking the conclusion of a remarkable era.

Suresh Raina's team won by three runs against India Capitals
In the final match of the Ranchi leg in the Legends League Cricket 2023, India Capitals and Urbanrisers Hyderabad faced off. Suresh Raina, the captain of Urbanrisers Hyderabad, led the team to victory with a solid performance in their match against India Capitals.
It was courtesy of brilliant innings from Gurkeerat Singh Mann's crucial innings of 89 runs that played a vital role as his team reached a total of 189 runs in their allotted 20 overs. In response, Urbanrisers Hyderabad took four early wickets, restricting the opposition to 43-4 within the powerplay. Despite a resilient effort from Kevin Pietersen, his innings couldn't prevent the team from falling short by 3 runs in the end.
