'Nala Sopara ka Tom Holland' - Fans react as Shubman Gill does Spider-Man pose for paparazzi, video goes viral

Indian young batter Shubman Gill is wreaking havoc in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 with his bat as he has already scored 576 runs in just 13 matches so far this season at a brilliant average of 48 and is currently sitting on the 2nd position in the Orange capt list, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Faf du Plessis is on the no1 spot with 631 runs in 12 matches. He also smashed his maiden IPL century against Surisers Hyderabad (SRH) recently.

Meanwhile, a video is getting viral on social media in which Gill can be seen striking some Marvel superhero Spiderman poses for the paparazzi. He climbed on top of a car and did an iconic Spiderman pose. Interestingly, Gill has given his voice to the leading character of the upcoming animated movie named ‘Indian Spider-man: Across the Spider-verse’ in Hindi and Punjabi versions.

I have grown up watching Spider-Man: Shubman Gill

Gill wore a green printed shirt and white pants for the trailer launch of the movie and was looking dapper as he nailed the look. Earlier Gill also mentioned how privileged and grateful he is to lend voice to the main character and said that he has grown up watching Spider-Man and it's an honor for him to do this. 

“I have grown up watching Spider-Man, and he is one of the most relatable superheroes. Since the movie will be debuting the Indian Spider-Man for the first time on screen, getting to be the voice of our Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar, in the Hindi and Punjabi languages was such a remarkable experience for me. Already, I feel superhuman. I am eagerly anticipating the release of this movie.” Gill said earlier.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old will be back in action in GT’s last league match which will be against RCB on Sunday, May 21 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The Hardik Pandya-led team have already qualified for the playoffs while RCB still need to win their remaining two matches in order to qualify.
