Team India has already qualified for the knockouts and will face New Zealand in the first semi-final at the Wankhede Stadium, in Mumbai. Rohit Sharma's side has won all their group-stage matches and performed exceptionally well as they are the only side to remain undefeated in the mega event.
Rohit and Shubman Gill set the innings at good position by giving them a fiery start. Both the batters scored half-centuries and stitched a partnership of 100 runs for the first wicket. In reply, Scott Edwards's side performed decently in front of the Indian bowling attack. They were eventually bundled out for 250 runs.
