'Kya khele hain dono'- Fans react as Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson help New Zealand post highest total in ODI World Cup 2023

Rachin Ravindra scored another century in the tournament as the batter has been in sensational form. The left-handed batter opened the innings against the Men in Green as Will Young was dropped as Williamson came back into the squad.

Pakistan vs New Zealand of ODI World Cup 2023 is currently underway at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. The Black Cap's regular skipper Kane Williamson is back in the squad as the batter missed most of the matches due to a thumb injury he suffered during a game against Bangladesh in the tournament itself. They have posted a total of 401/6 in their 50-overs against Babar Azam's side. 

Rachin Ravindra scored another century in the tournament as the batter has been in sensational form. The left-handed batter opened the innings against the Men in Green as Will Young was dropped as Williamson came back into the squad. The 23-year-old batter and Devon Conway gave the Kiwis a good start to the innings they built a partnership of 68 runs. After the wicket of Conway, the skipper and the youngster built a stand of 180 runs and smacked all around the park. 

Williamson also on his comeback scored a half-century and gave the stage for the other batters to come and play an aggressive brand of cricket. They posted a mammoth total in Bengaluru against the 1992 World Champions. 

Rachin and Williamson smash Pakistan's bowling attack

Rachin scored another century his third in the World Cup. He became the first batter to score three centuries for the Kiwis in a single edition of the World Cup. The batter was dismissed after 108 runs off 94 deliveries hitting 15 fours and one six. The batter is tied with the most runs with the great Sachin Tendulkar as a U-25 batter. Tendulkar scored 523 runs in 1996 and the youngster is 523 runs in 2023 with still one match left in the group stage. 

Williamson missed his hundred by five runs on his return. He played a brilliant knock of 95 runs off 79 balls hitting 10 fours and two sixes. The batter has been struggling with injuries but his team has performed well in the tournament and a win against the Asian Giants.
