Team India has been in sensational form in the ODI World Cup 2023. They have qualified for the semi-final of the competition. The Men in Blue are the only unbeaten side in the tournament, Rohit Sharma became the first captain to win 9 matches in the group stage. Rohit's side won their last game against the Netherlands in their final game of the group stage at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. 

The skipper has been in exceptional form as he is leading the team from the front and giving the team a good and fiery start from the top of the order in every game. The batter is second second-highest run scorer for his side with 503 runs in 9 innings. He is not looking for his runs and trying to play impactful innings at the top of the order.

Kishan predicted the gold medal which is given to the best fielder of the game. He predicted that Suryakumar Yadav would win the award. The moment of name came as people one after another started to raise placards to announce Surya as the winner. The first one to hug him was the wicket-keeper batter. The Men in Blue has created history after winning 9 matches in the group stages as they became the first team to achieve this record in ODI World Cup history. 

The two-time world champions became the first team who achieve a rare milestone, as the five batters of the side, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, and KL Rahul to score half-centuries respectively became the first team in ODI World Cup history to do so in a single game.
