Pakistan put into bat first and were all out for 191 with over seven overs left to play. The calamitous batting saw Pakistan score 36 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Babar Azam had top scored for Pakistan with 56, while Mohammad Rizwan scored 49.
The key wicket of Babar Azam was taken by Mohammad Siraj as the Pakistan skipper stayed rooted to his crease. Jasprit Bumrah’s Yorker knocked over Rizwan who was one run short of his fifty. The Pakistani wicket-keeper had scored 131 not out in the previous game to help his team chase down 345 versus Sri Lanka.
Kuldeep Yadav was the decisive bowler when he got two huge wickets for India. The left-arm wrist spinner first had Saud Shakeel out LBW. Iftikhar Ahmed hit Yadav for a boundary. Kuldeep though had the last laugh when he uprooted Ahmed’s leg stump for 4.
