The entire cricketing community is anxiously anticipating the commencement of the ODI World Cup 2023 final on Sunday, November 19, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The grand showdown will be witnessing the unbeaten India lock horns with Australia. The winner of this mouthwatering battle will get a chance to get their hands on the prestigious silverware in the cricketing realm.

To enhance the grandeur of the event, the Indian Air Force's Surya Kiran aerobatic team is slated to deliver a special air show preceding the final of the ODI World Cup 2023. The Apex Cricket Council (ACC) shared glimpses of their rehearsal on their WhatsApp channel. The Defense PRO for Gujarat has announced that the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team will present a ten-minute show before the commencement of the final.

This function will be done majorly aiming to instil a sense of patriotism across the nation as the Men in Blue step onto the field to craft another momentous chapter in Indian cricketing history. Preparatory rehearsals for the air show are scheduled for Friday, November 17, and Saturday, November 18.

Watch the first look of the show here:

India have been unbeaten in the tournament so far

The Indian Cricket Team led by Rohit Sharma will certainly be one of the favourites to win the tournament. The two-time World Champions have been unbeaten in the tournament so far as they have won all their nine league matches as well as the semifinal. On the contrary, the Australian team also have been riding on the back of the eight-match winning streak. Hence, it will be a battle of two stalwart teams who have been in surreal form in the ongoing tournament.

It is also to be kept in mind that it is the same stadium where both these teams clashed in the 2011 edition of the World Cup in the Quarter-final stage. In that match, it was India who defeated Australia on the back of a fine all-round performance from Yuvraj Singh.
