Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) squared off in the Qualifier 1 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 (CSK) on Tuesday at Chepauk Stadium. CSK, in the first innings, scored 172 runs for the loss of seven wickets. For the very first time throughout this competition, the Gujarat were bowled out.

Rashid Khan upped the excitement of the game by performing during the last few overs of the game by playing a wild knock of 30 runs off just 16 balls with the assistance of three fours as well as two sixes during the last over, but it turned out to be inadequate for the team. Shubman Gill scored the most runs for Gujarat Titans with 42. For Chennai, Tushar Deshpande took one wicket, while Ravindra Jadeja, Mahish Teekshana, Deepak Chahar, and Mathish Pathirana each claimed two.

GT and CSK both played outstanding cricket as Chennai Super Kings prevailed by 15 runs at the end. The joy of Dhoni's daughter Ziva as well as wife Sakshi, who were watching from the stands, when CSK won, knew no bounds. After CSK's victory, Sakshi congratulated her friends while daughter Jeeva's innocent face was plainly beaming. Ziva was observed by the cameraman supporting CSK throughout the game.

The photo of Sakshi and Ziva is going hot on social media celebrating this historic win at the M.A. Chidambaram stadium. Fans are constantly leaving comments on the photo of the two and it is pretty adorable to see the love they are receiving. Gujarat Titans' innings was bowled out by 157 runs on the final ball, eliminating them from contention for the final based on Gaikwad's 44-ball, 60-run performance.

In the eliminator, which is to be contested on Wednesday between LSG as well as Mumbai Indians, the Gujarat squad will now face the winner of that game in Qualifier 2 on Friday. Five-time winners, Mumbai Indians would be hoping to book a ticket to Ahmedabad and face the younger Pandya in Qualifier 2 of the IPL 2023. But in their way is a buoyant Lucknow Super Giants side who defeated the Mumbai Indians last week and would be hoping for a similar result this time around in order to face Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad on Friday.
