On May 24, an Indian Premier League 2023 eliminator match pitted Mumbai Indians (MI) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) against each other in Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium. Gujarat Titans (GT). The current champions will be MI's opponent in the second qualifier on May 26 after the five-time champions crushed the Krunal Pandya-led team by 81 runs.

Meanwhile, after LSG’s elimination from the tournament, several supporters tweeted about mangoes in response to their elimination in an effort to retaliate against Naveen-ul-Haq, who earlier celebrated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Virat Kohli's failure by posting a picture of having mangoes on social media. However, ever since that day, Naveen is getting brutally trolled on social media due to which, LSG also had to suffer from a lot of trolls and memes related to mangoes, and as a result, they finally muted terms like "mango," "sweet," and "aam" on Twitter.

The franchise's Twitter account posted a screenshot of the phrases being muted and added the caption, "Issued in our interest."

I like that everybody on the ground is chanting Virat's name: Naveen-ul-Haq

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old speedster is still the target of the fans and they have continued to troll by sharing memes. Naveen also got teased by Chennai’s crowd as they were chanting ‘Kohli-Kohli’ when he was fielding at the boundary line during the eliminator against MI. However, during the post-match conference, Naveen said that these chants don’t affect him.

"I enjoy it, I like that everybody on the ground is chanting his name or any other player's name. It gives me a passion to play well for my team. I don't concentrate on the outside noise. I just focus on my own cricket. It's not like if the crowd is chanting or anyone is saying something... it doesn't affect me.” Naveen was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.

"As professional sportsmen, you have to take it in your stride. One day you will not do your best for the team and these fans are going to give it to you. On another day, you'll do a special thing for your team and the same people are going to chant your name," Naveen added.
