In a video circulating on social media, the legendary Pakistan all-rounder was captured in a lighthearted banter with Australian commentators. The former cricketer humorously teased his counterparts for their mispronunciation of the word "Fakhar," playfully challenging them by saying, "There’s another name you guys mess up as well. Try to pronounce Fakhar."

Akram even shared an incident involving his wife Shaniera, recounting, "So Shaniera came to Pakistan and my son’s friend’s name was Fakhar. He brought his friend who was about 12 years old, and he said, ‘this is my friend, Fakhar.’ She said, ‘hang on a minute.’ Because Australians can’t pronounce K in their language, it took her about two years to pronounce his name." Additionally, the Australian commentators, including Akram, highlighted a moment when Mark Waugh struggled to pronounce 'Fakhar Zaman' on stage.
