The third edition of the World Test Championship is on the roll and every participating team (nine) has played at least a game each. The biggest upset of this cycle was the West Indies beating Australia. Talking about Sri Lanka, they are the only team not to win a game so far. Former champions, New Zealand, who finished last in the 2021-23 edition, are on top after beating South Africa by 2-0.

On the other hand, two-time finalist, India is in the second spot with 50 points and a win percentage of 59.52. They need to remain in the top two to qualify for another final. They are currently leading the five-match Test series against England by 2-1 as they won the third Test by 434 runs. This is their biggest win in Tests.

On the other hand, the defending champions, Australia will play the former champions and the Trans-Tasman rivals in the island country in a two-match Test series. the Proteas have only one win, that came against India at home late last year. Thanks to their one win against the Kiwis, Bangladesh is at the top and is above Pakistan, who is lingering in fifth. They lost the Test series against the defending champions by 3-0.
