India beat Netherlands by 160 runs in ODI World Cup 2023 at the M Chinnswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Team India already qualified for the knockout stages as they remain the only unbeaten side in the competition to qualify for the semi-final. They won all their 9 group stage matches. Rohit Sharma's side has performed exceptionally in the mega event and showed their dominance at home. They did not make any changes to the side in the last match. 

Rohit won the toss and elected to bat first in a good wicket of Bengaluru. The openers Shubman Gill and the skipper himself gave a fiery start again from the top of the order and set a platform for the other batters. They built a 100-run partnership for the first wicket. Both the batters scored half-centuries. 

Virat Kohli also looked in good touch as the former India skipper also scored a fifty as he became the highest run-scorer in the tournament. Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul scored hundreds respectively as they stitched a partnership of 208 runs of the 4th wicket and scored 126 runs in the last 10 overs. Both the batters smacked the Dutch bowlers all around the ground. 

Shreyas and Rahul shine for India

Gill and Rohit scored 100 runs in 11 overs. The former was dismissed after scoring 51 runs off 32 balls, the skipper played a knock of 61 runs. Kohli was dismissed after looking good on 51 runs. Iyer and Rahul looked in brilliant touch as both the batters scored centuries respectively. Iyer was looking in exceptional form in the last few games and played one of the best knocks of his life, he was unbeaten on 128 runs off 94 balls hitting, 10 fours, and 5 sixes which is also the highest score in his ODI career. 

In reply, Scott Edwards's side performed well in front of the Indian bowling attack. They were eventually bundled out for 250 runs, with Max O'Dowd and Colin Ackermann scoring 30 runs and Sybrand Engelbrecht scoring 45 runs. The side's only fifty came by Teja Nidamanuru who scored 54 runs. Kohli and Rohit rolled their arms and picked one wicket each.
