Sachin Tendulkar's cheeky reply to former Pakistan pacer after India vs Pakistan ODI World Cup 2023 clash

On Saturday, India defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in their third match at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The Rohit Sharma-led side had a comfortable win against their arch-rivals while chasing a target of 192. The Narendra Modi Stadium was jam-packed with supporters of India and Pakistan present to support their nations respectively. After the match former India batter, Sachin Tendulkar replied back at the veteran pacer Shoaib Akhtar's tweet that he made ahead of the marquee clash. 

Ahead of the match, Shoaib Akhtar posted a photo from the past where he can be seen celebrating Sachin Tendulkar’s wicket in a Test match. Pakistan collapsed from 155-2 to 191-10. They lost eight wickets for just 36 runs in 13 overs. Except for Mohmmad Rizwan and Babar Azam, no other batter could survive against a sensational bowling effort. Jasprit Bumrah had outclassed the batters with his bowling.  

Tendulkar was present on the ground and was seen commentating for a few overs as well. In response, Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer scored half-centuries and India chased down the target easily in just 30.3 overs. With an almost 1,30,000 crowd Pakistan was never been able to soak the pressure and lead in a defeat.

Akhtar captioned while posting on Twitter, "Kal agar asa kuch kerna hai, toh #ThandRakh." Tendulkar waited until the game was done and dusted and came victorious over their arch-rivals. The 50-year-old batter replied, "My friend, aap ka advice follow kiya aur sab kuch billlkoool THANDA rakha…."

Akhtar took to the social networking site, Twitter and wrote, "Wah re yeh khamosh chokkay!!" Former India batter Virender Sehwag replied, "Shayad khamoshi ke chauke dekhkar Pakistani batsman ne jaldi jaldi pavillion lautne ki thaan li. Jhel nahi paaye yaar pressure Haha..Koi nahi Shoaib Bhai. Na Ishq Na Pyaar mein.. Jo Maza 8-0 ki haar mein!"

Rohit Sharma scored 86 runs and looked in great touch as he achieved another milestone of hitting 300 plus sixes in ODI cricket. Shreyas Iyer also scored 53 runs and was unbeaten till the end along with KL Rahul.
