However, this time, India's fielding coach, T. Dilip, has announced it thrillingly. Notably, Dilip has hailed the performances of Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, and Shreyas Iyer in the dressing room; however, he sent all the players to the ground to reveal the name of the best fielder of the game against New Zealand. All the Indian players were thrilled and rejoiced in joy because of the way the Indian fielding coach announced the best fielder award for Shreyas Iyer.

"Dharamshala did pose us unique challenges. But I think apart from a few errors, I think most of the time we stood on the top of it and our ground fielding and attacking. The way we came back was outstanding. Very well done guys," T. Dilip said in a video shared by an Indian Cricket Board.

Meanwhile, India's skipper Rohit Sharma hailed his team for securing the win in their five out of five games in the ODI World Cup 2023. The 36-year-old cricketer reveals that he does not want to get complacent after getting five out of five wins in the marquee event, as he believes in staying in the present moment. In addition, the opening batsman hailed right-arm pacer Mohammed Shami and called him the class bowler owing to his 5-wicket haul in the game.

“Good start to the tournament. The job is half done. Important to stay balanced. Not to think too far ahead. Important to stay in the present. Shami took the opportunity with both hands. He has experience in these conditions and is a class bowler. At one stage, we were looking at 300 plus,” Rohit Sharma said after the win.
